We had a very great vacation and met very nice, super friendly and understanding hosts! We had three boys with us, who are of course also loud and they played with the ball or had fun in the water 24h (felt) and everything was okay for the hosts. We had several day trips that were within easy reach of the accommodation. Thanks a lot!
Secluded, pure nature, pure relaxation.
We received a very friendly welcome from Monika and her husband. We were shown the house and everything was explained. Our two dogs were very welcome. There are two ways up the mountain to the house. One is pure thrill and not suitable for lowered cars. The other way is only limited, but this one is not quite as demanding. The house is quite secluded, but it is only a 5-minute walk to the bakery. But that's exactly what we wanted. The house is divided into two levels. An apartment with kitchen, dining room, bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. The second is upstairs, with a kitchen, two bedrooms, both of which have a bathroom with access from the bedroom. The kitchens have everything you need. The rooms are nicely furnished and decorated with small, beautiful details. The garden is a dream. Very large with pergola and seating area at the grill in the back. A garden table for 6 people is also in front of the house. The pool is mega and big enough. Edged with clean Terssenplatten and loungers for sunbathing. The view from the pool to the mountains and down into the valley is a dream. We were there from September 5th to September 12th, 2020 and had dream weather with 28-32 ° C. To Lucca and Pisa it is approx. 1 hour drive by car. The next larger supermarket is a 15-minute drive. The small towns around Molazzan are all very beautiful and worth seeing. We found exactly what we were looking for - peace, nature, relaxation and still fun. Monia is always at your disposal if you have any questions. Monia and her husband are beekeepers and we bought their homemade chestnut honey when we left. When we eat it, memories of a great vacation always come back. We can recommend the house 100% and will definitely come again. Greetings Monia and keep up the good work !! You are great hosts! Stay healthy and feel depressed! Tuscan hillside property with fantastic views ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
A group of 9 of us stayed here for 2 weeks in July & August 2018. The weather and scenery were wonderful and the rural setting was ideal for us. The two apartments don't have too much social space inside, but the outside space is wonderful, with fantastic views, two seating areas, some shady trees to laze under and a fantastic clean pool. The town of Molazzana is very peaceful with one bar and shop (in fact the same place) and it was nice that there were no other tourists around locally. The town of Barga across the valley is bigger and more suitable for evening dining. A drive of 20 min up the the mountain from Molazzana you can access hikes up to Pania Del la Croce and surrounding peaks which are stunning to explore with fantastic views to the coast. The owner Monia was very pleasant and helpful during our stay even though our Italian was very poor. Although the apartment shares a small courtyard with two other properties, the aspect of the apartments makes it private and very peaceful. Thank you Monia for a memorable 2 week holiday in your lovely home which all our families enjoyed very much.

This property is in a beautiful location and is quiet and private ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
We had a lovely holiday at this property. There were 6 adults and one toddler. The garden was very safe for the toddler, obviously with supervision around the pool. There is a lovely shaded area in the garden, the views are beautiful, the pool was very welcome in the heat.
The garden feels very private and comfortable for outdoor living.
Our host Monia, was really welcoming, friendly and helpful.
The village is a 10-15 minute walk away down the hill and probably 20 minutes to come back up. The village has a small shop/cafe with a balcony overlooking the valley and mountains, perfect to sit for a morning coffee.
This property is great for a quiet, get away from the bustle sort of holiday, but an easy drive to lovely villages and small towns. I would be very happy to go back.

We were two families to occupy this beautiful home that offers all the amenities.
The view is splendid and the swimming pool is the most pleasant especially during the heat wave as we experienced it.
The owners always respond while still being discreet.
We loved staying there and visiting the area which, although a little far from Florence and Pisa, offers remarkable sites.
It remains for us all one of the best holidays we have ever experienced.
Grazie di tutto. Erano due settimane fantastiche!

This was far the best summer holiday ever and mostly thanks to this beautiful house and the property it's on! The yard , the view, nature, the house, everything is just breathtaking!! We were there for a week 4 adults and 5 children and everyone found something to do there whether to swim, walk, paint or play hide and seek! Would highly recommend it!!!

5 stars A retreat with great views
We spent 10 relaxing days at this unique place with our children and 3 grandchildren. We were very warmly welcomed. Although the owners hardly English and we spoke even less Italian, the communication worked very well. A bit adventurously the last part of the way up to the mountain was up. Fortunately, we never had any ...
The large, very well maintained, fenced garden with pool, ample seating, sunbeds and barbecue place was available to us for sole use and offered absolute privacy. The two-storey house has 2 apartments each with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen with small living room. All bedrooms have their own bathrooms, are country-style and very clean. An air conditioning was not necessary, as the temperatures at night declined, which was in July very pleasant. The free WLAN did not work in all rooms, it is recommended to take a repeater.
The information materials that were sent to us beforehand were very helpful during the journey and contained many hints on possible activities.
A washing machine is available. That there is no dishwasher and the TV is only very small, did not bother us. We enjoyed the outdoors and shared activities.
Lucca is an hour drive away, in 1.5 hours one is in Viareggio by the sea and to Florence it takes about 2 hours. Interesting were for us the smaller, surrounding places, where few tourists are. We can recommend this small Macchu Picchu to larger families or friendly couples and will surely go there again. The journey from Germany during the holidays was by car however quite stressful and long, although we had planned overnight stays. Alternatively you could fly and rent a car.

|amazing experience at villa and surrounding area
|Photos of villa certainly don't do the place justice.. fantastic villa with lovely big bedrooms and onsuites. The outside of villa is certainly the highlight with its secure fence and gate (I have 2 little ones..) large pool, lots of lawn and even a woodland area where my eldest loved to play. The views are beautiful (u have to see it forself to appreciate it) spent most evenings in BBQ area which was great.
We had a party of 5 adults and 2 little kids and we certainly wernt tripping over each other. Lovely big spaces to get some quiet time if u wished.
You certainly didn't feel like u were staying next to the owners (it's a semi detached) which I was initially concerned about. We had lots of fun and made lots of noise (the kids..).
Only thing with area as up in Mountains is restaurants don't start serving till 7pm which was too late for my little ones but that was the only issue I found if you can even call it an 'issue'.
Brilliant supermarket in nearby town which has everything u need or for something in walking distance there is a bakery and village shop/bar. Good view from bar balcony too!!!
Lots of good walking nearby with good trails to follow and breathtaking views to reward yourself with (minus the kids).
Overall I would highly recommend this villa if you like to get away from the 'tourists' and see the real Italy. You don't need to go far as the villa has everything you need. We were lucky to have amazing weather which obviously helps so many days spent in the pool.
Would love to go back and explore more walking routes.
Thank you again for a great holiday

|Great place in the middle of nature.
We had a very pleasant stay in a property very well maintained, completed for all the family with or without children
A special distinction is to be attributed to Monia and Gilberto for their kindness and their availability.
