Unique, quiet location Old mill in a unique, quiet location, neatly converted into a holiday home. Lots of space around the house, which is located along a mountain stream in a green environment. The host welcomes you with his own pizzas, baked in a wood-fired oven.

Hidden Paradise. 5 stars
Very remote, but you are completely undisturbed. The house is clean and tidy. The outdoor area is almost a park with its own stream. The children could play soccer and badminton and then jump into the large pool. We were able to grill and marvel at countless fireflies every evening. Paola was just great. Brought us homemade pizzas and honey. In addition, she took care of every concern as quickly as possible and in a friendly manner. It was just fantastic! We would love to come back next year.

The way there is long and at the end there is only a forest path, but the description fit perfectly. A generous house awaited us, which has several centuries under its belt. We made plenty of use of our own pool , which was just right for my boys. The stream immediately behind did the rest. We were in August and the weather was wonderful, when the sun disappears behind the mountains it gets noticeably cooler. We have filled ourselves very well.

The perfect place to regenerate. A place of absolute peace and... Kindness
5 stars
We spent 15 fabulous days, enriched by the exquisite hospitality of Paola and her husband. Our five boys filled the days between swimming pool, creek and the huge lawns pertaining to the house that saw them play endless football matches. The house is big and there is everything. The "main" master bedroom is a small-large joy, to be seen. Paola was a very kind and discreet guest: she welcomed us with pizzas baked by her husband and cuddled us daily with food thoughts collected from her garden. We were pleasantly surprised every day, in a place that is ideal for those who need to detach from the city, where the evening is dark, but really dark and where the silence is broken only by the flow of the stream. We'll be back as soon as possible.

Nature Relax Convenience
A week of relaxation in a house equipped with everything you need and beyond (pool, whirlpool, barbecue...) immersed in nature 2 steps from Lucca and many other beautiful paola resorts (the propretaria) very kind and caring#
John Dunn - This converted mill is absolute paradise, peace, relaxation and a stunning location. I can only echo everything said previously about Paola, the most perfect host ever. We cannot wait to return and have told all our friends and family about this magical place.

"The property, location and support were amazing. We booked 10 days at Paola's converted mill house for our family of 5 (kids 7,12,14). The house is very cool in the daytime, spacious and well appointed. The location is sheer bliss, lovely views up and down the valley with the sound of the mountain stream. The pool was a big hit with us all. Paola unexpectedly served up pizzas, homemade bread and honey and other treats out of the blue which were all gorgeous. A great base for exploring Lucca and Pisa. local village is a 15 minute walk for all the essentials. Would definitely recommend."
“Wonderful villa in the warm and quiet hills of Tuscany, enriched by the famous Tuscan hospitality”
Reviewed July 23, 2015
Private, quiet, well-equipped, clean and comfortable villa with a fine (and very necessary) pool. That was what my family of 7 found found tugged away in the hills centrally placed between Lucca, Pisa and Firenze, not far from Coreglia Antiminelli.
This has been the best 2 week stay in the south of Europe that we have had so far, amongst many.
First of all, we were greeted and looked after by the nicest land-lady (Paula), who even served us home-made, great-tasting food. First at our arrival - when we were tired and hungry, and later the best pizzas from her own stone oven.
Secondly, the house offered all the facilities that we could wish for, including wifi for the teenagers.
The house and surroundings were clean and well-kept. We had anticipated a very challenging dirt road to the house, but it turned out to be quite undramatic. Just drive slowly and don't bring a humvee or a Rolls Royce.
