We were a Group of twelve from the age of 15 to 80. One appartment was excelent for the lederly immobile with two bedroms at the Ground floor.
The others was accessible with stairs. The familiy renting out is very service minded, the sweetest people.
We had them preparing dinners - both anti pasti, pizza party and finner party and breakfast. We had the best Home made meals. The pool area was fine, with accesible pool and Sun beds. We highly recommend this place.

We LOVED our stay here and it is fair to say it exceeded our expectations. We loved the look and feel of the entire Villa. Everything from the grounds, to the pool, 5 separate apartments was spectacular. We were 4 families traveling together. We knew there were separate apartments and we would have enough space but we were pleasantly surprised at just how much extra space there was. Each family had their own space and there was an apartment to spare for the kids to take over.
The pool area was our favorite spot. The saltwater pool was always clean and cared for and the amount of lounge chairs and umbrellas were plenty.
The outdoor seating area and the wood fired grill was an extra bonus. Some of our favorite times was sitting around the table as a group having fabulous meals.
Last, but certainly not least, the host, Flaviano, was a perfect host. He lives next door and has found the perfect balance of being available when needed and respecting space when wanted.
He and his family were warm and welcoming. Typically, when staying in home rentals, you never see the host. This can be the case if you want but having him close by to answer questions was helpful. Flaviano is also an amazing cook. We opted to have the pizza dinner and the 4 course meal. This should not be missed. Both meals were served in his restaurant that is on his property. We all agreed that this stay was the best part of our vacation. We traveled for 3 weeks. Thank you Flaviano and Family.

Amazing place!
We are so happy that we could stay in this amazing place! Close to grocery stores and the charming little shops with hospitable villagers.
We were 15 people; 8 adults 7 children aged 0-13 who had a great time. Wonderful house with 5 apartments with their own kitchens and bathrooms, great space and large pool.
The host Flaviano lives in the house next door and is very helpful with everything.
DON'T MISS that Flaviano offers three-course dinners for 30€/person (children half price) pizza nights 25€/person (children half price) down in his nice taverna with wood-fired oven, local ingredients and family hospitality! We were all sad to leave this place.

A lovely village in the mountains, very nice landlord and family who runs the house. An old house with a lot of small apartments. We where a bit unlucky with the weather inspite we where there in the end of May so it was cold inside aswell as outside. But the nice days we had fantastic times around the pool. Our cyclists where very happy with the tours they went on in the surroundings. Our Pizzanight with the host was amazing!

My wife and I had long fantasized about booking a villa in Tuscany and bringing our whole family for a gathering. This place was beyond our wildest dreams. The listing was a little inaccurate in that there was more space than advertised. We had as many as 25 family and friends there at one time and never felt crowded with five separate apartments and 11 bedrooms. We wanted ambiance of a time gone by and this place delivered. Flaviano, the host, has put so much style and love into this place. He was super helpful, always friendly, and very responsive when there was a problem. The grounds were impeccable, the pool sparkling clean and the large lawn was perfect for our kids and grandkids. The location was perfect with a short walk to shops, gelato, a pizzeria and a world class restaurant. We loved the outdoor dining table that was big enough for our group. The taverna was a good hangout and place for us to dine on a few cool nights. Flaviano threw a pizza party for us and we had to force him to stop making pizzas. The only negative for us was the lack of good quality kitchen utensils as most of the family love to cook. Otherwise, a great place for a large group to stay. We loved the fact that Pieve is relatively untouristed and we were the only tourists in town. I can not recommend this place highly enough. Thank you Flaviano and Tuscan Retreats.

Beautiful house and a great location
Everything was clean and the house with the garden was just really beautiful. Flaviano and his family were such kind and friendly hosts. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it to anybody!

1 week tuscany with 4 families
Very nice property with five distinct apartments all able to host a family. With 17 people we had more than enough room and amenities. The large indoor eating area is situated in the managers house so if the weather doesn't allow outdoor eating and you wish to eat together you have to ask the manager. The village is cosy and have cafés, ice cream place, bakers, atm's, food stores, butchers and more, so all you need really. The roads to the village are quite small and winding over the hills if you come from Modena or Aulla, so pills for car sickness can be good for kids. The manager and his family are super friendly and helpful, and threw us a pizza party with top notch pizzas. All in all an amazing week!

Wonderful family vacation and birthday party

We felt very comfortable in Flaviano's house. The pool is great and the grounds very cozy. The small apartments gave privacy and we also had space to have breakfast or cook together. We had Flaviano and his team cook for us twice, it was very nice and delicious! But we were also able to eat very well. Everyone was very nice. Flaviano was extremely helpful and easily accessible. There are many pretty towns and destinations in the area. A perfect place for a family gathering, highly recommended!

Family vacation
We took our parents for a surprise holiday for their 80th birthday. We had a group of 20 persons and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of Pieve Fosciana. Flaviano made excellent pizza on our arrival evening. Overall, the villa was perfect for our needs since there were separate appartments.

Top holiday home with the family!

We had a wonderful week in honor of my mother's 80th birthday. The host warmly welcomed us with freshly baked foccaccias! Everyone had their own apartment and yet we could also cook and eat together in the lovely room downstairs. The pizza night was a great success and also the tastiest pizzas we have ever eaten. Really a top house if you go with several families.

Lovely villa in a small town, with many possibilities to visit the surrounding mountains and national parks. The villa is separated into different apartments, which is extremely useful for families or groups that sometimes want to withdraw to their own apartment. Owner was also really helpful and made our holiday even better. Would certainly recommend!

| I booked this villa for my Mother's 70th Birthday. We spent a week with 15 of us and had a fabulous time. The pool was wonderful, the host amazing (we loved his dinner parties). Nothing was too much trouble, even music and danced for us. Apartments/Villas were nice, traditional and had what we needed. Could have done with some fans as it was SO hot, I brought one myself for our room as the heat was unbearable. Wonderful to be able to walk into the town in 5 minutes for coffees, ice creams and cakes. Also a restaurant there if you want a meal out which we did several times. Supermarkets a short drive away. We would definitely return to this fabulous place and probably will! Thanks for your hospitality and sorry for writing this review so late. |

Wonderful week with our great travel company!

We had a wonderful week in Flavian's fantastic house / farm! We were 19 people, but there were beds in total for 25 people. Large apartments with rustic large bedrooms, with comfortable beds. A pool area that was so fresh was cleaned every morning. We grilled ourselves a few times by the pool. Flavian cooked a great dinner for us, on my husband's 50th birthday. We got on sc was amed when the pasta was made. One evening Flavian made pizzas for us in the stone oven down by the nice outdoor area, where we ate every meal. Flavian helped us book a wine tasting, and we could ask him for advice on most activities. That said, a wonderful week, we recommend this farm with great warmth!

Accommodations as described. Plenty of space. Super pool seating and pool loungers made of wood and metal high quality. Outdoor kitchen also great - Recommended, let yourself be cooked - Flaviano and family and Marcello afford Italian cuisine at its finest. The pizza evening will also remain unforgettable Overall, we can only recommend the domicile - wonderful location in the middle of Tuscany - day trips to Lucca, Pisa and the sea - travel time about 1 to 1.5 hours from the accommodation. We would have liked to have stayed there even longer.
A unique and wonderful villa for a large group ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
The location is great, it’s a five minute walk into the small town of Pieve Fosciana with shops and restaurants and there is a lovely little dairy just across the road for fresh milk. It is a lovely area for walking and also easy to travel to Lucca, Pisa and the surrounding villages.
The villa and grounds are beautiful and the separate apartments were ideal for our large group as each family could have some privacy but we could also enjoy eating and spending time together. Our host was very helpful throughout the holiday and we greatly enjoyed the pizza and pasta making. We had two meals prepared by our host which were excellent and we felt as if we were in a restaurant without having to leave the villa! The lovely swimming pool is looked after very well and there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy relaxing in the sunshine in this lovely villa.

We have had the most amazing holiday in this unique place.
Both the physical conditions and the owner's welcome were absolutely perfect.
We used 2 times that the owner made dinner for us and it is an experience to be self-catered. We got the most authentic Italian experience, with lots of good food and the kids were allowed to help make pasta so it was a hit for everyone.

What can I say.....well lots in fact and all very positive.
Set in a stunning Tuscan village with amazing scenery all round, Borgo Fosciana is an ideal place for a large group seeking Tuscan bliss.
The village itself is very quaint and picturesque with a fantastic restaurant and local grocery store stock an fantastic selection of local produce, all high quality but keenly priced from meats to wine and fresh produce.
The village is set in a stunning Tuscan valley with high Alpine mountains surrounding. Ideal location for hiking, trail running and mountain biking. The twisting roads are great for motorbiking and road cyclists alike.
The facilities at Villa are exceptional. Very clean and maintained to a high standard, you will find everything you need for a great break. If you're a foodie, you're in for a treat. Our hosts Flaviano with his mum and dad and chef Marcello, are exceptional cooks. We were hosts to a pizza making session with kids, Italian night where pasta and breads baked fresh on sight with more lessons on offer (complimentary experience). Flaviano makes all his own red wine and Prosecco which both are amazing and very good value. We were treated to a wine tasting evening which was brilliant fun and we helped bottle fresh wine. The BBQ area was great and a few servings of Grappo went down a storm!
Above everything, Flaviano and family were exceptional and made this holiday fantastic. Their hospitality is second to none, offering to bring us for grocery shop and to local train station, he couldn't do enough to help. Flaviano's knowledge of local area, food and wine is fantastic!!!!
Location wise, very convenient for exploring local villages and to train station for trips to Lucca, Florence and Pisa. Highly recommend from every aspect!!!! Will be back.

A lovely place. It consists of a number of buildings (some with rooftop terraces) in a spacious area, which means that large groups can gather together (great for al fresco large scale meals) or retreat to to the individual units (each with sitting room, kitchen, etc). Views all round of high mountains. Go out the main gate and turn right, and you're immediately onto countryside, river and hill walks. Go out the side gate, and you're straight onto the narrow medieval main town street, through the town gateway and into the centre (good cafes and bakery).
The owners are always available to help, and are hugely welcoming and friendly. They laid on a 'how to make fresh pasta' session for us, followed by a many-course, 'slow cooking' feast , including quantities of their own made wine and Prosecco, at 15 euro a head - highly reccommended.
