This is an exceptional property, situated within a country estate, including vineyards, olive groves, and a chestnut wood with stream ideal for picnics. Private pool, stunning views, electric car charging, A real treat!
Del Rosso, a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom property is set within a 16 hectare gated country estate with wonderful views. The property has a private driveway, parking and infinity style pool. The location is truly special - peaceful and tranquil, with olive trees and vineyards, yet less than a 5 minute drive from the mediaeval town of barga, with its windy, hilly cobbled streets; wonderful architecture; great restaurants; bars; gelaterias and often outside entertainment in the summer.
The property is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom farmhouse, along with a 1 bedroom barn set accross the courtyard (both included in the price), so it is ideal for a couple wanting privacy from the rest of the group. Renovated to a good standard, using original materials wherever possible, there are terracotta floors, chestnut beamed ceilings, a fireplace, traditional quality furniture and fabrics, all perfectly blended with the comforts required for a modern holiday.
We can arrange a personal chef if you wish to eat at home, and also wine tasting on site.
Treat yourselves!

A little about the area:
Situated in 16 hectares of land, with wonderful views at every turn, this property is a perfect rural retreat, yet it is less than a 10 minute drive from the Mediaeval town of Barga. Barga is a sought after place to stay, with its hilly windy cobbled streets, duomo, 10th Century cathedral ancient architecture and wonderful views. Renowned for its art, good quality, but reasonably priced restaurants and music, it is a fantastic place to be in the summer. There are often al fresco concerts; outdoor plays; festas with dancing; night time markets. Known as the most Scottish town in Italy there is also a famous fish and chip festival.
Closer to home, and within walking distance is the village of Albiano with its restaurant (not open every day), and bar at the local pool.
Places to visit:
These are just some suggestions since hilltop villages abound, and exploring can be either townie or totally rural - the choice is yours, if you can tear yourselves away from the house and the pool area.
