Living Room

Above the terrace is a large undeveloped garden of 305 square metres which leads up to the path of the old unused Quarry, where the name “Sassorosso” (Red rock) comes from. The views from the very top of the garden are even more stunning.

The Side Terrace, (25 square metres)  is accessed from an external door upstairs – has a lovely space to sit and enjoy slightly different views and enjoy some shade from the tree in the garden. It has surrounding iron railings and a gate.
There is an undeveloped piece of land of 16 square metres, across the road which could be used as an allotment or vegetable patch. The house can be sold "turnkey" with all fixtures and fittings and most furniture included.
Sassorosso is on the edge of the National Park of the Apuane Alps, and so is a wonderful location for hiking, woodland walks, mountain biking, climbing and skiing. It has a busy Pizzeria/Bar which has weekend entertainment,  and another excellent restaurant within walking distance of the village. Ten minutes by car is Pieve Fosciana which has 2 supermarkets, a bank, a petrol station and several restaurants, and 15 minutes away is the busy medieval town of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana.
